Great Gymboree Deals!

This deal was so good I had to share! I love love love a good deal. And I love sticking it to the manufacturers and buying stuff so cheap that they can't possibly make any money off me! I know maybe this is anti-stimulus of the economy, but really, everything's so overpriced that if we all stopped buying stuff at the higher prices they would have to come down. So I was up in the middle of the night feeding Kelsey and I saw my e-mail from Gymboree that they were having a sale. So I checked it out and I scored! The deals were so good that I had stuff in my online basket and it was flying out before I could even purchase it. Those stinkin' east coasters had probably seen it before me. So I purchased as quickly as I could and I got:

This silk dupioni dress. Retails for 49.50 but I paid 4.79! She'll look darling!

These boxer briefs retail for 9.50 a pair and I paid .79 a pair!

I love the fit of the boxer briefs for Jeremy but have only gotten him a couple pairs in the past because they're so much more expensive than regular underwear. So who cares if they have ghosts. So cheap! I bought 10 pairs. So I got a silk dress, 10 pairs of underwear, 2 pairs of tights, 1 pair of socks, and 4 hair bows for under $20 before S&H! Love it!!!!

Desperate Times

In the past week or so I've heard of two separate incidents of people taking their lives because they lost their jobs. I can't imagine feeling so desperate that I would have to do that. Jeremy was in a lot of pain from an ear infection last Saturday night and I was so thankful for David's employment that allowed us to take Jeremy to the doctor and help him feel better. Now Kelsey is sick and I was so thankful I had the money to go to the store last night and get her a humidifier and the things she needed to help her breathe better. I am thankful every day that David is employed and we give thanks often to Heavenly Father in our family prayers for this blessing. As I was driving home from the store last night I got a glimpse in my mind of how it must feel to have sick children and not be able to help them, to live and suffer in poverty. I was thankful again for a heated home, good food, and the resources to care for my children. I love to pay the bills on payday because I'm so excited that we have the money to do so. I love to go grocery shopping because it excites me to have money for food. If we never have the money to travel round the world, live in a beautiful home, or drive new cars, I will still be happy. We have all that we need and more. We are so blessed.

Doritos - Crystal Ball @ Yahoo! Video

Okay so I could care less about the Super Bowl but I do love a good commercial. Here's my favorite from this year.
