T-Ball

So Jeremy had his first T-ball game on Saturday. He looked cute in his uniform even if it was the Dodgers. He has only been practicing for a few weeks so he wasn't really sure what was going on like the kids who have played before, but he was happy to be there. Jeremy and his cousin are on the same team this year which is nice for Grandma cause she likes to come to their games.Jeremy was so funny when he hit the ball and got to run to 1st base. He did a happy dance on the base. I wish I had a picture of that! And he always ran the bases whether or not he was supposed to. They stuck him in the outfield all the time and he was so bored. I totally sympathized with him. There's little enough action in a T-ball game and the outfield is especially snoozy. He and another kid on the team were throwing dirt at each other. Some kids just sat down. One dad was especially concerned that his boy was skipping instead of running. But this was the same kid who wouldn't even get out on the field the first practice, so I told the dad just to be glad he was having fun. They're so little. Kelsey and I hung out on the sidelines and watched the "excitement."Grandma asked if Jeremy had enjoyed his first game and I truthfully answered that I think the snack after was the most exciting part for him! Daddy giving Jeremy some last-minute instructions. He's really enjoying watching Jeremy play baseball. It's nice for them to have something that's just theirs. Jeremy and I are together so much that I love for he and his Daddy to have some special time together.

T-Ball is the most important part of life. He needs to practice for twelve hours a day. Maybe even skip school for a few weeks to practice appropriately. Just need to get those priorities straight. Jenkins Rule!!

The boys look so cute. The snack is always their favorite part no matter how old they get!!
