I am a wimpy weather girl. I admit it. I don't like it to be colder than 60 degrees, 65 if at all possible, and I don't like it to be warmer than 75 degrees. How did I get this way? I was raised in a wide temperature range with temperatures sometimes ranging 60 degrees in one day! We'd have frost on the windows in the morning and be boiling by mid-afternoon. Heaven forbid I'd actually have to live somewhere with REAL extremes in temperature where people can die in the elements! Having said that, I really wanted to get passes to Knott's Soak City this summer to have somewhere to go when I'm getting grouchy from the heat. The passes are such a good deal, and it was only a little bit more to add on Knott's Berry Farm as well. Our Disneyland passes expired at the end of March, so we went for it!
Last Friday Daddy took off work and we went to the park.
We hung out in Camp Snoopy for a while.
I couldn't believe Kelsey could do the Huff n' Puff. She knew just how to make it go! Of course Jeremy was in back of her to give her a little push when she got tired.
We got the biggest bag of kettle corn I'd ever seen! It was delicious and so addicting! I couldn't stuff it in my mouth fast enough!
He always wants to go again, so he must be having fun!
Towards the end of the day Jeremy wanted to go on the big monster water ride, Perilous Plunge. I'd never seen it before. It looked terrifying and the people were getting soaked on it! I never go on water rides because I'm very vain and my hair looks terrible afterwards, but I was feeling like an adventure so I told Jeremy I'd take him. We made a deal that if we went, it would be the last ride of the day so I wouldn't have to walk around looking like a drowned rat. He agreed! I couldn't believe he even wanted to go. That boy is fearless! Such a timid boy normally, but not when it comes to roller-coasters!
Daddy got this great picture of us hitting the water at the bottom.
It was awesome!
We had fun, I got ugly, and then we went home.
Can't wait to do it again!
The End.

(laughing so hard)
Kelsey looks very intent on the huff n' puff ride. LOL at Jeremy's coaster pictures. How did you get such close-ups without riding it yourself? What a great mom you are...willing to get ugly just to make your child happy. I've never gone on that ride but I've been splashed by it many times.
That looks like so much fun! I haven't been there for like 20 years! Crazy. I can't believe Jeremy wanted to go on that last ride! What a dare-devil!
