Birthday Bash 2010

Saturday we had a birthday party for Jeremy and Kelsey. Jeremy's birthday is in January, so it's been a while, but summer time is so much better for a party! We reserved the Splash Pad again and invited the kids from their church classes, and other favorite friends.
It was so fun to watch them all arrive! Every time someone else would come, I would get all excited!
Kelsey was happy her best girlfriend was back from vacation in time for the party!
I made some yummy food! Too bad I didn't get any of it.
Being a hostess is busy!
The watermelon was perfect!
The chicken salad is my favorite!
We had it at our wedding reception.
Last year I made cute kabobs with strawberries, blueberries, and marshmallows. This year, ambrosia! Pretty much the same stuff, much easier! And so tasty too!!
Jeremy had a blast!
The kids had fun together.
And the adults were all excited to be there. LOL
I had some technical difficulties frosting the cupcakes so they weren't quite the awesome presentation I was hoping for.
I had frosting up to my elbows and on my swimsuit too! I was sticky for the rest of the day!
But the kids enjoyed them.
And the adults deemed them edible as well.
Speaking of technical difficulties, how many men does it take to light a match?
But it only takes one little man to blow all the candles out!
Kelsey was sung to next, and she loved it!
She decided she needed a little help from her brother to blow out the candles. No worries, he's a pro!
Mmm...birthdays are delicious!!!
Finger-lickin' good!
We were blessed with so many presents! I had asked our guests to bring their favorite books to share with us, and they delivered! We got over 75 new books for our library!! Awesome!!!
We sent everyone home with little cards that Jeremy had printed out, thanking them for coming.
Thanks to everyone for making our celebration so fantastic!

Isn't it amazing how you can transform that swimsuit into cute. ;)

LOL at the men's technical difficulties.

It sure looks like you had a great day. I'm sure the birthdayboy will appreciate all the photos when he gets older.
