That is horrible! It amazes me what gets deemed as okay in schools when other crazy things get outlawed.
Unreal! At first I thought the mom was just taking the boy's word for it, but the teacher admitted the whole thing??
Reminded me of the Olden Days, when public ridicule was routine.
I agree with Cherish--the kids aren't allowed to play TAG anymore, but they can't summarily dismiss this woman?
I am saddened by the lack of love and compassion people have for one another in general these days. Having a child with special needs myself, I cannot imagine the pain this cold and calous teacher caused. She is obviously ignorant and has been hardened by this world that has taught us that we all need to be "normal" to matter. My heart truly hurts for that little boy, his family, and all those impressionable children involved.
