1 more week

So one more week and I'm still throwing up! I asked Daddy if I ate the hospital food or if he smuggled food into me when I had Jeremy. He said I was so happy to feel good when I ate that I ate the hospital food. Wow, that'll be nice. My back hurts almost all day and it's hard to walk sometimes because my legs and arms get so sore from carrying the belly. They actually hurt so much I've got to sit down. I feel like such a wimp! Today I meet with the dr. who's cutting the baby out and it would be so great if she said, you know what, let's just do this thing in the morning. Yeah right! That's not going to happen. They have this policy about not having the baby before 39 weeks. Whatever, I just have this appreciation now for people with chronic illness, except theirs has no end, and I have one more week! In other news, I found an awesome diaper bag on Saturday. I went shopping with my MIL and SIL, and Jeremy who wanted to come with me. It was killer! I found really creative places all over to sit down, but it was nice to be out. Daddy keeps telling me I should use one of those little electric carts they have at the stores, but I feel so silly doing that. Anyway, I found a fantabulous diaper bag. I really love it and I'm excited because I went through so many cheapy diaper bags with Jeremy. They just kept breaking and this one has the cushiest shoulder straps too. Yay! Grandma bought the baby the sweetest little yellow dress too. I think every little girl needs a yellow dress. It's Grandma's favorite color too, so she agreed. Thanks!
On Sunday we took a BIG carload of stuff to church to give out to different people. It's all the stuff I've been going through and cleaning out. We gave our friends Jeremy's clothes and I'm so happy they're not going to Goodwill, because that would have broken my heart. All those cute little clothes. Anyway, so hopefully they can use some of them. I talked to another friend last night and she was telling me that she saved her kids special outfits in space bags, you know those kind where you use the vacuum to suck the air out of the bag. I'm excited to do that, because I love the bins but they take up so much room and you know I have some sentimental clothes of Jeremy's to save. I have a few things I'm selling on Ebay so I'm going to go watch them, and hopefully they sell!

I read in a magazine once about this women that saved all her daughters "important" outfits like the one she came home from the hospital in, her first birthday and first day of school, prom, etc. then when her daugher got married, she gave her a quilt that was all mismatched patterns of fabric. when she figured out that the quilt had been made of all those special outfits it became her most precious posession. so i thought that was a great idea and i started saving those things for moma so i can make her a quilt one day. if i have enough fabric, i will make two identical ones so that i can keep one for myself as well. cute idea huh? wish i could take the credit for it!!
