Thanksgiving in Vegas!

This Thanksgiving we decided to visit

David's brother Phillip and his family in Vegas!

After that, more family decided to come, so we were a big group!

Kelsey loved playing with her cousin Abby!

We all chipped in for a bounce house for the kids, and they loved it!

My sister-in-law made us a thankful tree to count our blessings!

Jeremy wrote Daddy, Mama, and Kelsey on his leaves.

Love that sweet boy!

The boys took the kids golfing.

Jeremy was so excited to learn, and Daddy was excited to teach him!

I was excited about the See's chocolate!

My sister-in-law and I made this Thankful Tablecloth!

We ate, we shopped, we crafted, and we had so much fun!!

Halloween!

October was full of fun!

We visited our favorite pumpkin patch!

Jeremy has been sprouting up!

Kelsey is still tiny!

We bounced with friends!

Fed some goats!

And rode the ponies!

Yee Haw!

We did treats in the streets of Orange with our friends!

But the kids got bored fast with the crowds...

So we went to visit the Great Pumpkin Balloon!

We ran around the park and tired these girls out!

The carousel was magical at night!

Finally it was our turn to ride in the balloon!

It's so amazing; we never get tired of seeing it!

We went to the Halloween celebration in our town.

It was crazy busy!!

Luckily we got there early and got a hayride with these beautiful horses before the line got too long!

Jeremy was a dancing machine, busting out all sorts of vampire moves!

Kelsey loved collecting candy!

The kids had a lot of fun at our ward Halloween party.

The big field behind the church was perfect for the kids to run around!

The costume parade went on forever with all the kids!

They got their boogie on!

Jeremy loved his spooky vampire teeth!

Halloween night we teamed up with the neighbors

and hit the candy circuit!

Their buckets were only half full when Jeremy decided

he had enough candy, whaaaat??

And before he had a good stash of Butterfingers for me!

It Is Well With My Soul

A few weeks ago our church choir sang this hymn,
It Is Well With My Soul.

As a preface they presented the story of the composer,
Horatio G. Spafford.

His story was so moving to me, as he endured many of the trials that would be my worst nightmares come true.

I invite you to read his story and feel of the great mercy
and blessings in your own lives.

Apples, and Pumpkins, and Donuts, OH MY!!

Last week Kyla and I took the kids to the San Bernardino mountains

for a little apple picking, donut eating fun!

We ended up at Snow-Line Orchards, where the apple picking was done, but there was still plenty of fun!

The trees were beautiful, all decked out in their fall colors.

The kids loved the red leaves!

I decided it was going to be such a magical day that the girls needed appropriately applicious matching outfits!

The apple press has been in operation for over 100 years!

It was amazing to watch the apple juice just flow out of all those apples!

Jeremy thought it was very interesting that he was taller than the roof of this building which was built into the side of the hill.

The kids loved watching the apple cider donuts being made!

I couldn't wait to taste them!

Sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar, they were irresistible!

Mmmmm....

We also loved tasting the different varieties of apples they sold there and the apple cider too!

On our way up the mountain we saw this sign and screamed a little!!

At the base of the mountain, we stopped at Live Oak Canyon Pumpkin Patch. It was closed for the season, but we got to pick a couple of pumpkins. Jeremy was in love with the corn maze, and disappointed that it was closed. We will have to go back next year and see everything!
