Due Date

So we finally have a due date I'm comfortable telling people. First I wasn't sure when the baby was conceived and then I didn't know when she was actually coming out. The doctor has scheduled the c-section for July 7th. I'm so excited! That's in 3 weeks. The only bummer thing is that I wanted to have the baby at the same hospital where Jeremy was born, but they were booked so they're sending me to a different hospital. Yesterday I threw up my lunch right after I ate it and it was so yummy. I'm so looking forward to feeling well again!

Angels Game

Last night was Mormon night at Angels Stadium. Daddy and I and Jeremy went with Greg, and Jon and his nephew. It was fun. I was concerned about sitting in the seat for so long because my back has been bothering me, but the seat was actually really good for me. Daddy said we'll have one installed in the living room. :) Jeremy sat well and didn't get as bored as before, which was nice. He got scared of the fireworks so Daddy took him down where he couldn't see them so I could watch. So sweet, thanks Daddy! I really love fireworks, and I was excited we were there to see them. I packed a big bag full of snacks and the weather was perfect so we had fun even though the Angels lost. We seemed to be sitting in the section with all the beer drinkers, and we saw two girls start a fight and get escorted out of the stadium. My gosh, it's a baseball game! I sat next to this family who turned out to be very nice. The mother was a registrar at a school just like David's mother and the husband was an author. I looked up his books this morning and they look cool. They're all about prehistoric or paleo life. I think Jeremy will really like them and I'm glad I met them. Leaving the parking lot was horrendous since it was a sold out game, and we were stuck behind this car for so long that I got curious enough to get out and ask them what their bumper sticker meant. It was funny. When I got back in the car, Jon said he could have told me what it was. Would you have known what it was? Oh well, part of the adventure.

Bad See's

I had an unfortunate incident with the See's Candy employee at the mall. I asked for a custom box with no nuts for my SIL for her birthday. When she opened it, it was filled with nuts! So I took it back to the store and there was no apology and they did not give me anything for my inconvenience, just told me if I wanted chocolate I had to pay for it, they didn't get anything free either, and told me I should have bought a gift card to begin with to avoid this whole mess. The nerve! Not impressed.

P.S. I e-mailed See's and they got back to me within the hour with an offer of a gift certificate and a letter of apology. Very nice. I'd like to take it down to the store and wave it in front of the employee's face and say ha ha don't mess up this order or I'll be back for another free pound. I won't do it of course, that wouldn't be nice, but it was a fun fantasy to indulge in for a minute. ;p

Rearranging

So tonight we rearranged the living room. I should say Daddy rearranged while I sat and directed. It feels like the whole house is getting shifted around because the spaces are small, so when one thing moves everything else gets shaken up and landed in a different spot. It's funny because I always think things can't be in better places, even if I don't like them. Then we move things around and I find out I like it better than before. I know there's a deep life analogy here, but it's cheesy and I'm not getting into it.

It's out!

So Jeremy's tooth finally got so wiggly yesterday that I just pulled it out. I was surprised to see so little root on it, but Daddy said that's what happens, the adult tooth dissolves the root of the baby tooth and it falls out. I was skeptical but I looked it up and it's true! It's weird the random facts that one person accumulates over their life that someone else doesn't. Anyway, I digress. Daddy put the tooth in a baggy and had Jeremy put it under his pillow and he was very excited to see his dollar this morning. He said, "Wow!" and came to show me. Now we get to teach him about tithing! And he already has another loose tooth!Jeremy eating an apple on the side of his mouth so he wouldn't bother his loose tooth. It's finally out! Look what I got!

Nursing Bra Advice?

Okay girls I need your help. I need to find a good nursing bra and I have no idea which one to buy. When I nursed Jeremy I didn't wear a bra, I just stuck the nursing pads up there and it worked fine, but I'm a different shape now and I feel like I need a nursing bra, so please tell me what you all like! Thank you!!!

Pack your bags!

So it suddenly occurred to me that since I keep telling people I could have the baby at any time, she's all baked except for a little fat on her, I should really pack a bag and have her clothes ready. So yesterday I got ambitious and washed all the newborn clothes. I forgot how many little clothes it takes to fill up the washer. I'm used to big clothes that fill it up fast. I got all her newborn clothes, her towels, blankets, and swaddlers in there. I read the list from the hospital and I'm determined to stick to it. Last time I brought way too much stuff. They really provide everything you need for the baby, so I just packed her clothes to come home in, and Jeremy's coming home outfit in case she is a he. You just never know. I think it would be fun if pregnant bellies were see through like fish tanks and you could watch them in there. Of course I'd still be clothed, but I could choose to let people take a little peep.

Restless Legs Syndrome

Okay, so awhile back they came out with the commercial for medication for Restless Legs Syndrome, (RLS). I thought oh my gosh I can't believe it! They really have a medication for everything. I thought, what is this, this can't be real. This can't be something that actually needs a medication. Oh, I was so wrong. So I have totally got it now in the last couple of weeks, and it really prevents me from going to sleep. Then tonight, not only did I have the RLS, but my left arm was having the same sensations. I can't explain it, but I have to move it all the time, so I can't sleep at all tonight between my arm and my leg. AAAAAAAAAAAH! Help me, I just want to sleep!

Pantiliners

OK, so just in case anyone had any doubt as to David's commitment to me, which you shouldn't, he went to Rite-Aid and bought me pantiliners. Now that's love! Thanks Honey!
