My Mother's Day started really nicely with breakfast in bed from my sweeties. Look at us bedheads! Made from scratch blueberry pancakes. Hot, juicy blueberries and whipped cream, so delicious! I got a custom packed just for me box of all my favorite Sees candy. We had a gift certificate so it was free; even better! And for all of you out there who know me, it's almost gone; no chocolate hoarding here! Unfortunately Jeremy's allergies were pretty bad so I kept him home so his Primary teacher wouldn't have to deal with him blowing his nose every 2 minutes. Daddy was nice and brought me home my mother's day treat from church. 
I have a tradition to take my picture on our steps on Mother's Day because my jasmine are blooming at that time and I love them! Well, we were a week late, but we did it! 
My sweetie knows how much I love pictures of me with my kids and snapped these later in the evening when I was enjoying the outside with Kelsey.

Every year we have a family reunion on my maternal grandmother's side. Sometimes it's up north and sometimes here, since our family is kind of split between the two locations. This year it was in Fallbrook at a great park we used a few years ago. I was reluctant to go because so many of my side of the family couldn't come and it was a really busy day for us. I am so glad we went! We met a really nice family and now we wish we lived closer! 
We got to visit with other relatives that I forgot how much I loved! The food was FANTASTIC! They had a fajita bar to die for and the best strawberry shortcake! 
Jeremy had a lot of fun playing baseball with Daddy and some of the other family, participating in the other planned activities and of course just playing.

We also got to go see my Grandfather Kay and Uncle Steve and have dinner with them and my cousin and her son. It was so nice to see everyone. 
My Grandfather loves babies and had fun holding Kelsey and tickling her toes. 
My niece loves to dress up as a ballerina and wanted Kelsey to wear this tutu. Aren't they cute? 
My sister and I both love puzzles and so I took one down to do with her. Jeremy had his on the other end of the table and my niece wanted to do one too so hers was in the middle. It was quite a puzzle party!
I remembered the spa heater was turned off so I decided to stick my feet in and cool down. It felt so nice that I invited Jeremy to come too. 
Kelsey stuck her little feet in and kicked the water. She already likes the water better than Jeremy did when he was a baby. 
Soon I was joined by more hot people. 
Then things started getting a little crazy and before you knew it... 
I jumped in fully clothed! 
Jeremy joined me and soon the other kids started jumping in with their clothes on too! I had to ride home like that, but it felt so awesome to be cool!
On Wednesday we went with our friends to the park. 
Kelsey's getting big enough to go on some of the stuff, with help from us of course. 
It was super windy, but we bundled up and had fun. 
On Thursday, I babysat my friend's 2 little girls. Jeremy had lots of fun. They played in the mud and were outside for hours. It was a gorgeous day! 
Friday was another perfect day and we were at Atlantis Park for the mom's group. 
Jeremy lost another tooth there while he was eating his lunch. He's got 3 holes and another loose tooth, so he has to eat very carefully. 
Saturday started to warm up some more and Daddy and Jeremy both had baseball games. The sun was so bright that the coach blacked the kids eyes. Jeremy was happy for me to take a picture because he wanted to see what he looked like. This is my new favorite picture of him. 
Daddy helps him get his gear on when it's his turn to be the catcher. 
He's been working on his swing. 
He needs to work on his running. He just kind of ambles to the bases. LOL 
Daddy told the 3rd base coach to tell Jeremy it was a race to home plate so he actually ran faster to there. Now we know we've just got to tell him it's a race to each base and he'll run faster. 
Kelsey and I tried to stay in the shade. There was one tree and everybody huddled under it to stay cool.
Ok, I admit it, I really wanted to plant a garden for the fresh tomatoes. I abhor store tomatoes. The fact that it really is prophetic counsel to grow a garden is really just a bonus. Don't you love it when the commandments go along with what you love to do already! Very convenient. LOL
